The 3/16″ Niclot Mini Hollowers are for anyone interested in making extra small forms up to approx. 2″ deep. Sold as a set (straight and bent tool).

- Not all bent tools are created equally. Our Bent tool is designed so that the cutter is located on center with the shaft of the tool. This eliminates the rotary torque often associated with the hollowing process as long as you keep the tool rest behind the bent part of the tool .
- Designed by a woodturner for woodturners and made in our Fort Collins, Colorado shop.
A note on sharpening: Unlike our other hollowing tools, the Niclot Mini Hollowers do not have a replaceable tip, they are just too small to allow for that. However with careful sharpening these tools should last you thousands of mini forms. Watch a short video on sharpening them here.

I recently purchased the LN mini hollowed and am very satisfied with the product. The quality of the product is unsurpassed as are all of the tools I’ve purchased from Trent. The only comment I would have is I wish the straight tool was maybe 1/2 to 1 inch longer. But that is personal taste.

Nice tool offering great stability with the 1/2” shaft . The shaft fits any 1/2” inserting handle or into TB handles. Very easy to sharpen, steal hold a nice edge. A great tool getting into those tight curves through a narrow opening. Fun to add to one’s quiver.
