Did you get a new lathe and still want to be able to use your Stabilizer? This 5/8″ to 1″ Tool Post Sleeve for Mini/Midi Stabilizer will allow you to do just that.
This post allows you to use your Mini/Midi 5/8″ Stabilizer to be used on a Standard Full size lathe. Included in the kit is a 1″ post that has a 5/8″ hole, so it can be slipped over the 5/8″ post and adapted to use on a larger lathe.
PLEASE NOTE: This solution is best for those who plan on using their Stabilizer on both a mini/midi and a standard lathe often. If you are planning on only using your Stabilizer on the standard full sized lathe from now on please check out this option, which is more rigid and better suited for those making a more permanent switch.
Please make a note when checking out what type of lathe you will be converting your Stabilizer to be used on.
