Introducing Total Access Tool Rests by Trent Bosch Tools. Available in two different configurations Symmetric and Asymmetric.
Currently available in 7″ (Lime Green), 10″ (Purple) and 13″ (Yellow) lengths with a standard 1″ post.
Our asymmetric design allows for greater reach without increasing the overall length of the tool rest and has a low profile for improved access. Designed with access in mind these tool rests just don’t get in your way. A good tool rest is one of the most underrated pieces of equipment we use as woodturners. Having a tool rest that allows full access and is comfortable makes your process more enjoyable!
Powder Coated Steel • Case Hardened Top Rod • Fully Tig-Welded Construction
Comes complete with a stop collar to make setting your desired height easy and repeatable (Note: the stop collar is not able to be used on all lathes due to the short distance between the banjo and spindle on some machines).

I’m happily impressed with the stoutness of this tool rest. So far it’s smoothed up a majority of the vibration that I would’ve normally felt with my Nova products. I also appreciate the small detail of making the set screw for the collars the same size as all of the other TB’s tool adjustment screws. Having one (or two) Hex keys for everything versus a pile of mismatched/misplaced Hex keys all over the shop makes life a little bit easier. Thanks Trent and team!
