    You have to be careful drilling out the old glue. The hole tends to get wallowed out.

    My only thought, and I’m not a metallurgists, is I don’t understand the superglue to hold the tip. I have not had to change it yet but why not a set screw?

    Haven’t needed this yet, but original tip in hollowing tools work better than expected. They cut great and are easy to sharpen. I imagine replacing the tips will be pretty easy as well. Gluing eliminates a tiny set screw that can strip or loosen.
